Aromatherapy

What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is the use of plant-based essential oils to balance the mind, body and spirit.

Aromatherapy does not cure diseases. However, it has a scientifically proven effect on the frontal lobe and pituitary gland. All of this influences the nervous system, generating an intense vibratory field. If this vibratory field is strengthened and balanced, diseases are repelled.

Aromatherapy is often associated with the sense of smell, but essential oils can be absorbed into the body by inhalation or by application to the skin.

When an aroma is inhaled, the olfactory epithelium containing about 20 million nerve endings is activated. The aroma becomes a nerve message that is amplified by the olfactory bulb and then passes along the olfactory tract and enters the limbic system.

When the oils are used through the skin in massage, these molecules are absorbed into the bloodstream within 20 minutes. They circulate through the body, and within an hour they reach the organ that is most similar to their chemical composition, which receives their effect.

Using Aromatherapy with essential oils we create a psychological impact produced by the vibration of the aromas. This powerful tool, used since ancient times by different cultures such as Babylon, China and India, triggers a psychic emotional balance, affecting our body, mind and spirit in a harmonious and positive way.
