Our exclusive landing at Laupahoehoe Nui on the Kohala Coast, with its majestic 1200-ft. waterfall, gives you a one-of-a-kind photo and video opportunity during 20-25 minutes on the ground. Get up close and personal with the real Hawaii: unspoiled, untouched, magnificent.
Volcano National Park
The awe-inspiring power of nature at Volcano National Park, a must-visit destination. Home to two of the world’s most active volcanoes, Kīlauea and Mauna Loa, a unique glimpse into the dynamic processes that shape our planet. Wandering through lush rainforests, surreal lava fields, and mesmerizing glow of molten lava. Hiking through the otherworldly landscapes, delving into the rich Hawaiian culture at the Jaggar Museum, or soaking in the breathtaking views. A journey to the heart of volcanic activity to feel the raw energy of Earth's creation beneath our feet.
Dolphin Watch and Double-Reef Snorkel
We ride on a scenic boat ride, during which we’ll keep an eye out for Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins. We might also witness the majestic Pacific Humpback Whales as they migrate and give birth to their calves in Hawaii's warm waters. Once we arrive at the first reef, you’ll have 45 minutes to snorkel and immerse yourself in the underwater world. You can always return to the boat to relax with drinks, snacks, and shade. We then travel to another beautiful reef for more snorkeling fun.
Where we stay
A nonprofit educational retreat center in the heart of the coastal jungles in the Puna District of the island of Hawai’i. Our lush campus is a hub for wellness services, guest lodging, environmental stewardship, educational programs, and community living. We partner with teachers and facilitators to offer daily classes such as yoga, art, gardening, meditation and dance, as well as host community workshops, special events, dedicated retreats, and so much more.
